One clear focus, one clear answer

Written consultation to unlock one specific focus in your project

You have a precise question about your project, your website, your portfolio, or the way you present your work.
You can feel there is a pebble in your shoe somewhere, but you neither have the budget nor the mental bandwidth for a full diagnosis or an ongoing support package.
This is why I created this “One question, one clear answer” offer:
a written consultation, short but serious, to give you a structured outside perspective on one specific focus in your project.

You have a question that keeps nagging at you about your activity or your project, and you no longer know who to ask.

If your question is about your business, your artistic practice or your communication, it is not a therapist’s job.
And if what you want is a structured, clear, factual perspective – with real, practical next steps – I am more useful than a fortune-teller.

For the price of a small consultation, you bring me one specific issue to focus on, I carefully look at your case, and you get back a written answer with arguments, clear priorities and realistic actions you can take in the real world.

This offer is designed for:

  • artists, independents, small organisations, committed people
  • who have one targeted question or focus point
  • and who need an outside perspective to stop going in circles.

You do not want (or are not ready) to jump straight into a full Structural Diagnosis at €320.
You do not need ongoing support. You need a real answer on one specific point.

Here are the types of questions this offer is made for:

  • meaning / intention question:
“When a piece leaves the wall and becomes an object or an installation in space, what changes in the message and in the viewer’s experience? Where is the risk, where is the interest?”
  • positioning / audience question:
“I want this body of work to speak to a particular milieu (collectors, women in leadership, luxury brand clients, etc.). How can I talk about it credibly for that audience, without jargon and without betraying the work?”
  • hybrid project perception question:
“I am developing a project halfway between a built artwork, an object and a participatory activity. How can I make it clear from the outset that this is an artwork, not just a ‘craft activity’?”
  • clarity of page / text question:
“On this page of my website / in this presentation text, what works, what blurs the message, and what would be, in your view, the 2–3 priorities so that someone who doesn’t know me finally understands what I do?”
  • visual coherence question:
“With this colour palette / these visuals, what does my project actually communicate? Is it coherent with what I say I want to do?”

If you do not recognise yourself in any of these examples but you have one specific, precise issue in your project where you are stuck, you are probably in the right place.

You bring me one specific issue or core question.
I take the time to look at your case, and I send you a written answer that is argued and usable.

You receive:

  • an email or written document centred on your question
  • my argued sense of what is going on (clarity, positioning, perception, coherence)
  • the 2 or 3 key points I identify as priorities
  • concrete ways to move forward: rewording, an angle to own, a decision to make, the next small realistic step.

This is not a full diagnosis, and it is not ongoing support.
It is a focused spotlight on one specific place, to save you from endlessly going round in circles on your own.

This offer is suitable if your question is about:

  • conceptual angle: meaning, tone, positioning, the way your work is perceived
  • specific point of structure or clarity: one page, a short text, a passage in a dossier, a hinge in a project
  • simple visual choice: palette, type of images, coherence between what we see and what you say.

This offer is not suitable if you are trying to address:

  • a whole multi-layered project (offer, positioning, strategy, organisation…) in one go
  • a tour of exhibitions, a complex project with budget, partners, timeline, etc.
  • three different questions in the same email.

In those cases, it is better to go directly for a Structural Diagnosis or a Projects diagnosis, which look at your overall situation before proposing options.

By focusing on one specific issue at a time, I only see a slice of your project.
I rely on the context you give me – which, like any local point of view, can be partial or biased.

Practically, this means that:

  • I cannot guarantee that the option I suggest is the most relevant one for your project as a whole
  • I cannot, in this format, check the overall coherence of your activity, your offers or your communication
  • my answer will necessarily be less fine-tuned than if I had first carried out a full diagnosis.

This is precisely the role of the Structural Diagnosis:
to look at what is really stuck, where, and how your project or business holds together (or does not) as a whole, before deciding which changes to make.

Price: €50

(EI, VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French CGI)

This is roughly the price of a short consultation – except here, you get a structured written answer you can return to as many times as you need.

Once your question has been sent and confirmed, you receive my answer within 5 business days at most.

100% asynchronous, written format, in 3 steps:

You send me, via the form at the bottom of this page:

  • A few lines of context: who you are, what you do
  • The relevant link or excerpt (website, text, image, dossier, etc.).
  • Your question, formulated in one single paragraph: what is blocking you, what you are trying to understand or decide

Made by credit card via Stripe, a secure solution suitable for international payments.
On request, it is also possible to pay via PayPal, especially if you want to use the instalment options available on your PayPal account.

This offer may be enough if:

  • you mainly needed an outside perspective to validate an intuition
  • you wanted a nudge to help you choose between two options
  • the issue is limited to one specific point in your project.

If, when reading the answer, you realise the problem is broader or deeper, you can then:

  • move on to a Structural Diagnosis to work on your overall activity, offers and communication
  • or, if your need is specifically about a dossier or project to be presented (open call, tour, grant, etc.), go to the Projects offer and its dedicated diagnosis
  • or simply keep the answer and use it to move forward at your own pace.

Nothing is forced: this offer remains a small, stand‑alone consultation.

If, after this focus consult, you decide to book a full Structural Diagnosis or Projects Diagnosis within 2 months, the fee of this consult will be deducted from the Diagnosis price.

Send me a few lines to present your situation via the form below.
If some documents are missing or turn out to be necessary, I will simply ask for them by email when I confirm your request.

I will read your request and get back to you:

  • either to confirm that your question fits this offer, and to send you the payment details
  • or, if it is not the right format, to suggest something more suitable (or tell you honestly if I am not the right person).

I never start working before I have confirmed my availability and received payment.

“Introduce yourself in a few lines (who you are, what you do).”
Links to your website or any useful document (optional but recommended). If some documents are missing or turn out to be necessary, I will simply ask for them by email when I confirm your request.
What is blocking you; what you would like to clarify or decide.
