Rooted in traditional craft
All artworks are created by hand using traditional methods, then scanned in high resolution for immediate professional use.
- Digital files – You receive a master image (PNG, JPG, PDF) from a high‑fidelity scan, cleaned and ready to use.
- Layout – I provide the illustration and placement indications, but not the final technical layout (titles, barcodes, complex print files), which remains the role of your designer or printer.
- File authenticity – My work is not created in digital drawing software; fully editable source files (Photoshop/Illustrator) are therefore not supplied.
Two ways of working together
- Based on your brief – If your composition and intent are already defined, research time is reduced and the work is more accessible.
- Creative exploration – If we need to explore the concept together, we’ll go through successive sketch phases to refine the scene and idea.
The traditional creation process
- Composition – A first pencil sketch to validate the overall structure and composition.
- Adjustments – A limited round of tweaks on the base drawing before final, irreversible inking.
- Final artwork – The full hand‑drawn illustration, followed by high‑quality scanning.
Transparency & exclusivity
Every project comes with a tailored quote, including the licensing of usage rights (commercial licence).
Pricing is adjusted according to the complexity of the drawing, the time involved, the scope and duration of commercial use, and any delivery of the original physical artwork.
